Discover the Artists and His Work:

David Hochbaum

is an artist born in New York City and raised in the suburban landscape of Rockland County, just outside Manhattan. He studied at Boston’s School of the Museum of Fine Arts, where he immersed himself in photography, painting, and sculpture.

Returning to New York City in 1995, David quickly became an integral part of the local art scene, establishing himself as a notable artist. His work has since been exhibited internationally, with showings in Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Denmark, the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Chile, and across the United States.

David’s artistic practice delves into themes of identity, memory, and the dynamic interplay between natural and urban environments. Deeply committed to fostering artistic communities, he has hosted critique salons and organized free workshops to support and promote fellow artists. Collaboration and community engagement remain central to his creative philosophy.

Currently, David lives and works in New England while maintaining strong connections to both the New York and European art scenes.
