NAR Settlement: What You Need to Know Today

Real estate commissions can be confusing, especially with the recent NAR settlement raising questions. In this video, I clarify what this settlement means for us and how things have changed.

Contrary to popular belief, the real estate industry hasn’t been turned upside down by these lawsuits. Only one major change has occurred: as a listing agent, we can now offer zero compensation to a buyer's agent in a real estate transaction.

However, this change is not widely adopted. Most sellers prefer to market their property to every buyer's agent and avoid being the first to offer zero compensation.

In summary, the ability to offer zero compensation to buyer's agents is the main change we’re seeing. If you want more insights or detailed information about these developments, feel free to send me a message.
