This past summer we were once again a proud sponsor of the Regan Youth League. We had fun coming out to the baseball games and cheering on our team. And what a thrill it was to see them finish as the top team in the league!
We had fun selling this 5 bedroom home at 6 Alveston Terrace in Jamaica Plain. The children's bedroom wall mural attracted two mermaids (thanks, Barre and Eric!) and once we posted photos of mermaids throughout the house, the post went viral on Instagram's zilowgonewild, attracting 32,000 Likes and 668 Comments.
We were proud to be named Best Real Estate Service and Friendliest Business in JP by the Jamaica Plain Gazette in 2021. We were also named a Top Real Estate Producer by Boston Magazine and received a Best of Zillow designation again. We work hard at making sure our buyers and sellers are elated with our service and these accolades reflect this commitment.

We set an office record for most smoke detectors installed in one day. Randal installed 18 in two buildings on the same day! Good thing he's tall!

We continued our long-standing sponsorship of the Emerald Necklace Concert Series this past summer. It was great to see neighbors and friends returning to the parks and safely gathering to enjoy a wide variety of musical entertainment. We gave out dozens of pairs of Focus sun glasses, provided snacks and drinks for everyone, and offered our Focus lawn chairs for anyone to borrow. (We let everyone keep the lawn chairs at the last concert!)
We shot dozens and dozens of videos during 2021 including our weekly Stay Focused video series. We had fun covering timely and informative real estate topics with a sometimes lighthearted approach. In 2021, 65% of our sales were condos, 33% single family homes and 2% multi-family homes. In 37% of our sales we represented sellers. In 63% of our sales we worked with buyers.

From condos to single family and multi-family homes, our agents helped clients buy and sell a record 130 homes last year - a 13% increase from 2020.
Carrying on an annual Focus tradition, our dress-up theme for Halloween this year was Toy Story. We went all out! And our Halloween photo contest was huge success. Dozens of families stopped by our office to have free photos taken and we gave out gift certificates for the most creative costumes!

During November and December, we collected toy and clothing donations for Toys for Tots and Cradles to Crayons. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our community! Special thanks to our friends at Boing! Toy Shop for offering a discount on toys purchased to donate to our drive. We helped dozens of families and children have a happier holiday and for that we couldn't be more proud.
The year our oldest home sold was built. This is 222 Barrett's Mill Road in Concord. We actually sold two homes from the 1600s in 2021!
This beautiful 5-bedroom home on Maple Street in Arlington sold for $511,000 over asking price. With low inventory and plenty of buyers, this sale was a prime example of the hot seller's market we experienced in 2021.
This beautiful home on Fearing Drive in Westwood was one of 19 $1 million+ homes we helped buy and sell this year. Our agents spread out across the Boston area - in Newton, Brookline, Cambridge, Concord, Hingham, JP, Roslindale, Needham, the Cape and West Roxbury - to make dreams come true for our buyers and sellers.
An amazing team effort all year long resulted in achieving $100 million in sales volume for 2021 - a 26% increase from 2020.
We're thrilled to announce that we are opening an office in Newton! We expect that our new storefront will open this Spring - just in time to help our many clients and friends with their Spring market buying and selling plans!
