About Candy Wicks
A Rhode Island native, Candy discovered her passion for painting while studying Illustration at the Art Institute of Boston. Although she began her career as a graphic artist in Providence, she later moved to Boston to pursue another artistic path in hair styling and color direction at Dellaria Salons, where she continues to thrive as a stylist and educator.
Candy’s love for nature is evident in her watercolors, which are inspired by her travels and the changing beauty of the seasons. Her signature piece, “Walk with Me,” earned acclaim when it won the Providence Art Show, and since then, she has continued to captivate audiences with her use of color and emotional depth.
