Please join us for our First Thursday Event on January 5th from 5pm-8pm at 34 South Street, Jamaica Plain.
We are thrilled to pick up our First Thursdays events after a holiday season hiatus this month with local Jamaica Plain artist, Patty Yehle. Her bright and colorful pieces are rays of sunshine during the cold Boston winter. Patty will be on hand to answer any questions about her work at our First Thursday event.
A few words from the artist's website:
Patty Yehle graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, and a Diploma Degree from the School of The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. In addition to creating original oil paintings, Patty also makes Giclee prints of her work. Archival / Giclée prints are made by printing with archival pigment-based inks on a variety of premium quality papers. The archival pigment printing process is a technique that provides an unsurpassed level of accuracy in fine art reproduction. Sometimes also referred to as a "giclee", the prints are created from a digital scan of an existing original painting and are printed using a highly sophisticated and accurate printing technique.
